Samuel R. Sharar, M.D.
"Being anesthetized for surgery is an uncommon and sometimes frightening experience, especially for kids and their families, for acutely injured patients who must undergo emergency surgery, and for burn-injured victims who require repeated operations and other painful procedures. My goal is to support such patients and their families--to listen to their concerns, to answer their questions, to reassure them with patient-centered care, and to vigilantly and safely care for them before, during, and after their operating room visit."
